Hunterworks Belt Warranty
Hunterworks belts are warranted for a period of one year from date of purchase. Hunterworks warrants that the belts will conform to our specifications and will be free of defects in material and workmanship.
Expect to be asked questions when asking for warranty, the exchange can be very basic stuff but if you have some oddball thing happen then please be prepared to do a fact finding question answer deal back and forth. We assume you want to know what happen as much as we do when it is a odd ball situation.
Our liability under any express or implied warranty is limited to replacement of the belt. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF, AND WE DISCLAIM, ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES (INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES. INSOFAR AS SUCH WARRANTIES CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED, WE LIMIT THE DURATION OF SUCH WARRANTIES TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover: This warranty does not cover any belt that was (1) improperly installed; or (2) installed on the wrong machine; or (3) used on a machine in which the drive system was modified or not in good repair;Examples: aftermarket clutches or gearing or (4) intentionally cut or damaged; abused in anyway or (5) used for racing; or (6) has a ECU flash or programmer for the ECU that increases the Rev limiter (7) Has turbo's or other higher HP engine mods made to vehicles that did not come with it from factory (8) Belts with top cogs missing, that means it hit something which is no fault of the belt (9) Vehicles with tires larger than 10% larger than stock tires (10) Vehicles with snorkels that did not come from the manufacturer of the vehicle (11) Vehicles with Tracks (12) Exclusive to our Thick belt, using it in an application it was not designed for, example: Thick belt used in the dunes for duning when the Thick is a slow riders like a rock crawler's belt. Example 2: High speed driving (13) Specific to Turbo RZR all years that use any brand of clutch kit that changes the amount of belt travel or has a secondary clutch shim or snap ring mod. As well as two brands of kit that we don't want to mention here that it will be voided with. You can ask before you buy our belt on what kit that is. Does not cover shipping of the replacment belt outside the U.S. customer outside the US will be responsible for the shipping of the replacment (14) Belts that slip or start to slip, that is not a belt issue but a driver error burning it or a clutch issue (15) Adding to #14 Misfire codes tripped, that is caused by excessive wear from an activity or the spider nut and spider backed off a bit, or even the start of bad rollers in a clutch. (16) Any squealing mostly on 2016 and newer models with the BOSS secondary and any 15 RZR or 14-19 Rangers with Rapid Reaction Secondary Clutches. That is a secondary issue, that so random it can't be 100% fixed.
Special Info: 2020-22 XP Pro Turbo and all 2021-22 Turbo and 2020-22 XP General Models will not have a warranty on the belt due to bad clutch calibration from factory and the service bulletin on them did not fix it either. Other aftermarket kits may fix this issue but we know the Dalton we sell does for a fact.
For 16-19 Non-Turbo Polaris Vehicles we ask that you please use our round rollers in place of the square pucks that come in the stock secondary clutch. They wear out clutches and cause you to eat belts and could void this warranty if they have worn your secondary clutch significantly.
Every new belt needs to be seated to the clutch faces. To accomplish this, break in a new belt by running your machine at half throttle or less for the first thirty miles. This will allow the belt to seat properly and provide optimum performance. Warranty will be denied if the belt was not properly broken in.
The warranty is limited to one replacement belt and that belt will not be warranted.
Warranty is limited to the original purchaser on their own vehicle.
The OEM manufacturer of our belts has a 1% warranty rate now, it is very obvious we have a quality product, if your vehicle is burning or blowing belts the defect is in the vehicle not the belt. We will make every effort in assisting you in determining your belt problems .
To receive warranty and you meet the conditions above, we simply need a picture of the belt showing the markings proving it is our belt and a sales receipt. If bought direct we will have a copy of your receipt in our system. If bought from a dealer of our belts we will need a copy of your sales receipt from them. Once we have that, we will ship you a new belt at no charge. Shipping charges appy to any international belt sales.
