We installed this Kit on Hunters Raptor 80 and we can't be more pleased at the amount of light it puts out and without the worry of drawing all the juice out of the battery like typical ATV lights.
What is HID lighting?
High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting technology replaces the filament of the light bulb with a capsule of gas. The light is emitted from an arc discharge between two closely spaced electrodes hermetically sealed inside a small quartz glass tubular envelope capsule. To operate, they require ballasts, which supply proper voltage and control current. The amount of light produced is greater than a standard halogen bulb, while consuming less power, and more closely approximating the color temperature of natural daylight.

Kit comes complete with a single MR11 HID light which draws only 11 watts but puts out the light of a 35 watt halogen bulb, mounting hardware, wiring harness and photographic installation instructions for easy installation. Fits Yamaha Raptor 80. The single frame mount is designed to attach to the OEM front bumper. Runs on stock stator.
